The purpose of the evangelist department is to reach the lost and minister to our neighborhoods, communities, and to people on our jobs. We reassure them that there is no problem, addiction, sickness, or hurt of any kind that God cannot heal and God still loves them.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Our purpose is also to render services to those in the nursing homes and prison, minister to the youth and provide assistance to senior citizens and bereaved families. |
![]() President: Elder Tyrone Daniels It is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4 It is our mission as Christian Men to cultivate and bring forth the leadership abilities in Men. As sons of almighty God, we set the standard and are living examples of Christian Men. We are to be ambassadors for building the kingdom of God. We earnestly trust in God by faith just as Abraham did. |

PRISON
President: Elder Jerome Johnson In Matthew 25:24-36, Jesus clearly states we will have to stand before Him and give an account of our stewardship toward the hungry, naked, homeless, and prison. The overall purpose of the Prison Ministry at Greater Mt. Sinai Church is organizing a visitation program for the benefit of inmates of institutions and correspond with inmates/prisoners throughout the United States; witnessing to inmates and their families; aiding in a physical and spiritual rehabilitation of men and women upon their release from an institution by given or sending Tracts, Testimonies, Bibles, and Tapes. This ministry also provides free counseling and encouragement, not only for the repentant convicts and juveniles who want to turn from their past and live for Jesus but also for incarcerated new believers and backsliders who are struggling hard to understand the Bible and to live the Christian faith.

President: Evangelist Celeste Cuffie The purpose of Greater Mt. Sinai’s Women’s Ministry is to reach, build, prepare, and strengthen women who will glorify Christ in all areas of their lives. The Women’s Ministry achieves this purpose through consistent women’s meetings and activities that teach how to apply biblical teaching to daily living. In addition, the women are reassured of the support system that they have through God, their sisters in Christ, and the Greater Mt. Sinai ministry regardless to their current phase of life. |

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13 To reach out to young women and lead them to the Lord. It is our goal to strengthen relationships, build a sisterhood and promote participation within the church and our community, by prayer, fasting, leading by example and sharing our faith experience with others. It is our vision to holistically empower young women between the ages of 12-17. The purpose of the Young Pearls of the Promise Ministry is to use the Bible and faith based teachings along with other activities that focus on self-improvement, self-respect, and confidence, and education, spiritual and personal growth. To help them become as a pearls: rare, precious, highly valued, and admirable, in the shape of a circle to symbolize completeness in God. |
![]() President: Minister Vincent Mack The purpose: To develop young men to be distinctively “Valiant” exhibiting a lifestyle of holiness and excellence, by equipping them with sound biblical principles and values to make powerful life choices and decisions.
